As you may have noticed in the earlier years (1935 to 1941), almost no public advertising for television sets existed (especially for 1941). The reason was the extreme high cost of sets, limited market size, and lack of programming to attract viewers.
We do begin to see a trickle of USA advertising in the war years 1942-1943-1944-1945. They speak about the promise of things to come.
