1958 - 1971 Clairtone  - (Canada)

Clairtone of Canada manufactured television sets from 1958 to 1971, and also made high-end console stereos.  The most famous Clairtone designs were the "Project G" series which were very avant-garde.  The stereo systems were famous for their unusual globe speakers and one appeared in the movie 'The Graduate' and one of the more popular ads of the era was: "Listen to Sinatra on Claritone, Sinatra does" with him standing next to his Claritone G-1 model.  (Information courtesy of Craig Parslow).
