Welcome to my web site!

Over the years my interests have included American history, 19th century photography and collecting antiques. 

Early in 1999, I purchased a 1939 RCA television from Harry Poster, a well-established dealer in antique radios and television sets. 

That acquisition was responsible for my keen interest in television history.  After spending several years researching the subject, this site was created to share information and documentation gathered.  It has been a rewarding experience which has allowed the opportunity to meet many wonderful collectors, researchers, students and teachers worldwide.

I retired in 2001 from Ford Motor Company after 30 years of service.  Most of my career as a Senior Engineer was centered around technical writing, dealer communications, and export market publications.
